Hatha Mood Yoga Campout
There's something extraordinary about immersing yourself in your yoga practice. Setting yourself in the forest creates an extra sparkle to that experience.
For a few days in June, I’m inviting a small group of yogis to step away from the usual responsibilities of life and into the forest for the Hatha Mood Yoga Campout. This retreat is for dedicated yoga practitioners who crave fun new ways to move, love a strong yet graceful vinyasa practice and semi-experienced campers, people who enjoy being outdoors and are comfortable taking care of their own basic camping setup.
3 nights/ 4 days. 5 yoga sessions. Los Angeles National Forest.
This isn’t a luxury retreat or a polished getaway.
It’s something simpler.
Each day will begin and end with yoga amongst the trees and open air.
In between we’ll cook and share meals together, wander through the forest, hike one (or more!) of my favorite trails, and leave plenty of time to rest, nap, or simply listen to the wind in the trees. As an extra special bonus, we have a local DJ as part of the Hatha Mood crew so it would only be right that we have a small dance party amongst the stars to cap it all off.
Your duties are simple:
make your way up the mountain,
pitch your tent,
bring enough water for the weekend,
and don’t forget your yoga mat.
I’ll be cooking most of the meals for the group (and my lovely husband will be there helping out in the kitchen), so while we are definitely camping… there’s still a little bit of comfort built in.
